What’s Coming Up!

The 8 Most Valuable Double Edge Safety Razors of 2018

This article is based on the most valuable safety razors of today and brings a few questions.

Is it because of scarcity? Demand? Popularity? Or just plain performance?

I’ll let you know my thoughts. Tell me yours! Email me at [email protected]!

Rocnel Elite 2018 Limited Edition Double Edge Razor

Limited edition of only 55 units, the 2018 Rocnel Elite is a quality piece indeed.  Medium aggressive on the shave and slightly improved over previous versions, its still available at Bullgoose Shaving.

OneBlade Hybrid

OneBlade has introduced a new razor based on both the all metal Genesis and the composite Core. The razor is priced at $199 and still accepts the same Feather single edge blades as other models. Check it out!

Discussion of the Week: Bay Rum Yay or Nay?

Recently myself and Mantic collaborated to write an article on Bay Rum and it made me think. I hear a lot of wet shavers say they love/hate bay rum?  I’ll tell you why!

Product Review: Supply 2.0 Injector Razor

You may remember a few months back Mantic’s review of the Supply 2.0.  I was recently contacted by Supply to try it out as well.

While many of you know I’m more of a straight razor/double edge guy, I found the razor to perform right up there with other injector style razors and was very impressed with the weight and balance of the new version, It is a tad more aggressive than a vintage Schick injector, and is a great addition for those who enjoy those razors and are looking for a modern alternative.

The shave was really nice and clean.  The Supply Injector V2  is easy to maneuver and get through the hard spots. At $79 its not far fetched and is well built.

All in all a good piece indeed for those who enjoy injector razors or those looking to convert from cartridge style shaving.
