Summer is Here!

Summer is here! For most people in the USA summer is a time for get togethers and time to spend outdoors.  Enjoy time with your family and friends!

Discussion of the Week:  Summer Products !

If you’re looking for a chill from your morning routine there is one main ingredient! Menthol.

Menthol is an ingredient that most people describe as a the “chill” aspect of a shaving soap.  It’s a crystalline compound that is used in many products and is found in peppermint and other essential oils.

Although some soaps may be a little over the top, if you haven’t tried one, this is the time of the year to do so!

Most artisans have a soap containing menthol. Check them out!

Summer is also a time for more floral and sweeter scented products.  Ask your favorite aritisian for their summer sections today.

*Tip: Summer Shaves can also be enhanced with the use of a cold towel!  Simply take a small towel wet it, and stick it in the freezer during your shave.  When your done shaving, simply wrap you face with it. You’ll thank me later:)

Training Tip of the Week: When to Let Go of Shave Products

Recently, I have been liquidating some of my collection. I did the math and realized that I would not be able to use most of my collection while it was still good. Here is what I found:

The scent in most soaps last about two years. After that the scent starts to deteriorate, but the performance may get better.

Some aftershaves will separate, bringing the essential oils to the top of the bottle.

What to do?  I tell you my thoughts!
