I have been able to compile some statistics about what Sharpologist readers have been buying over the past 12 months. I thought it might be interesting to list the top ten products in different categories. The first list was shaving brushes. Here are the top 10 shaving creams and soaps that readers are buying.

This list was compiled from reports supplied (mainly) from Amazon.com, and other sites where Sharpologist is an affiliate. One of the ways Sharpologist is able to cover its costs and be a sustainable business is a small commission earned when readers make a purchase from Amazon or other sites after clicking on our links (including those above). While no personal details are passed on, an overall report about what was bought is available and was used to create this list. See the disclosures page.
I have recently been using TOBS Peppermint shave cream.
Along with the rest of the range, it produces a luxurious long lasting lather.
The Peppermint scent is very refreshing and soothing, I can highly recommend this product, particularly coming into summer.

Interesting display of budget and luxury items. What’s the reason for closing the comment section of the previous piece about brushes?
An interesting list. And, whilst I do have a fair few soaps around the place, the TOBS Sandalwood is always a part of my collection. Why? It is inexpensive, and incredibly nice to use. Pleasant smell too. Provides a nice lather which lubricates nicely.
Now, I am sure there are better shaving creams, and better sandalwood scents (and I am sure people will be along in due course to point this out in detail!) but for the money – bang for buck – this is hard to beat really.
…although I confess to using their equivalent soap more often at present!
