Old Spice as come out with three new scents for their bar soaps: Pure Sport, Swagger, and Fiji. Here’s the run-down:
Probably the strongest scent of the three, I find it smells “soapy” and “powdery.” But the scent itself doesn’t linger too long. For me this has performed well as a deodorant soap.
With a “woody” or “evergreen” scent I find it’s not quite as strongly scented as Pure Sport, but the scent lingers longer. I think this a very masculine scent.
I find this an interesting, “layered” scent: it is initially a tropical floral, then becomes almost “fruity.” The smell doesn’t linger very long at all and is probably best as a “family-friendly” soap.
All these soaps perform well though: they lather quickly and clean thoroughly.
Old Spice was very generous with me, sending a bunch of bars in each scent. So let me pass their generousity on so you can try these soaps for yourself! I’m giving away five sets of soaps (one bar with each scent). And one lucky person will get an Old Spice “Captain’s Kit” consisting of Swagger bar soap, a “clipper ship” logo t-shirt, a Seaman’s Flask, and a dopp kit!
