On the eighth day of shaving, my true love gave to me, eight milk-based shave soaps….
And there is quite a variety, with several different types of milk!
Most common is goats milk, such as Country Gent and others.
Then there’s coconut milk, actually a pretty common ingredient, in popular shave soaps like Stirling Executive Man; and Noble Otter, with scents like Noir et Vanille.
Haslinger has a shave soap with sheep milk.
Then there’s donkey milk, such as those from Wholly Kaw (Monaco Royal seems to be the most popular version) and La Savonniere du Moulin.
Shaver Haven has a shave soap with almond milk.
Finally there’s Bathhouse “Milk Shave Soap” that doesn’t really have milk but does have a lot of other ingredients that look pretty good.
